Upstream Classical Presents

Our 2026-27 Season continues with a program featuring local storyteller and musician, Tara McGowan, who will share stories in the Kamishibai tradition, a form of Japanese street theatre using illustrated paper pages to accompany the story. She will be sharing traditional folk tales from Japan as well as her own retelling of a classic Norwegian fable. The theme of our November shows ties into the Japanese festival of the moon, and harvest time.
